What the gurus are saying

This lightweight toner delivers solid hydration despite its thin, watery texture that absorbs quickly without feeling heavy. Gurus found it does work hard for dehydrated skin and layers beautifully, though it lands in the middle of the pack rather than as a powerhouse, best thought of as a quiet background product that gets the job done, not the most plumping hydrating toner out there. Great for layering and suitable for any skin type.

"This is another hydrating toner option, fragrance-free, [...] available at Ulta. It's very watery, thin, lightweight, quickly absorbed, good amount of hydration, great for dehydrated skin, great for layering, good for any skin type. There's nothing super exciting about it texture-wise, packaging-wise, ingredient-wise. The PDRN is not doing anything for you, it's all marketing. But all that being said, it's a solid hydrating toner."

"But this actually is just a really solid hydrating toner. And you know that I have such a love in my heart for those types of products. With dehydrated skin, toners are really the foundation product of my skincare routine. [...] If you have dehydrated skin and you don't have a good hydrating toner in your routine, [...] or if you're using like not a hydrating enough type of product, your skin is going to suffer. Your skin is going to feel very thirsty, [...] very dehydrated."

"I do feel like it actually is enough. Is it the most hydrating, plumping, hardworking, hydrating toner? No. I would say that this falls pretty fairly and squarely in the middle of the pack for me as far as hydration goes. [...] It feels so light, but then I feel like it sticks with your skin just without weight or body or thickness. It doesn't feel like much at first, but it's kind of one of those quiet background type of skincare products that actually does work hard for your skin."

"I really like this so much. [...] I don't like it for the PDRN. Like this is just a good solid hydrating toner. It's got a gorgeous, very watery texture, very like no body to this whatsoever, but it's got that special quality, that full fat water kind of feel. [...] Once it's in your skin, you can feel that it's holding a lot of hydration. It's not just like water that sits at the surface and then feels like it disappears. [...] For being so watery, it's quite deceptive."

"This is the VT Reedle Shot Synergy sparkling toner. It's so much less bubbly in real life than I expected, a little less exciting than we hoped for, but it does feel nice, it does feel like a nice toner, it has some lovely humectant ingredients in it and some betaine as an enzymatic exfoliant. [...] It's made to complement their viral Reedle Shot, not a must have, not as bubbly as I hoped it would be, but also not bad, it's a nice hydrating toner."
