"VT's PDRN ended up being my favorite and it still is my favorite. I'm okay with these capsule products, where you get a scoop and mix a cream capsule suspended in gel, but honestly I don't think this category is as much for drier skin types because I need more cream than gel. On a dry skin type like mine it's just not my absolute favorite format, but I didn't expect to like the VT as much as I do. If it ends up that I'm okay with using niacinamide, this really seemed like a nice product."

"It's not greasy. It feels pretty natural over skin, which is nice. It feels silky when you apply it. The major ingredients include a lot of slip ingredients up front plus niacinamide plus squalane, which are overall generally good ingredients. For acne prone skin we've got a couple ingredients of note which are fatty alcohols which can be not the best for acne prone skin, and squalane is very very low but it is slightly comedogenic. We've got squalane, carbimer, cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol which are two fatty alcohols which can be slightly irritating. For the main stars of the show we've got niacinamide, turmeric, ginseng, copper peptide. We've got a lot of different peptides in here which are nice to see. Matrixyl 3000, we love those. They are at the very end of the ingredient list quite literally with the exception of one ingredient. They're all at the end. But that's a lot of peptides work very well in very small amounts."

"I used to hate hate these moisturizers, but I've been trying out the VT Reedle Shot PDRN Capsule Cream and these capsule creams are more than just a gimmick. If you're into hydration and glow, but want something that little extra when it comes to the skin barrier support and elasticity, this is a great one to go for. My thought process has gone from it's kind of gimmicky to it's actually like a perfect customizable moisturizer. This cream is kind of recommended for those whose skin is starting to feel a little bit loose, where it doesn't quite have that bounce back that you maybe had in your twenties, for early signs of aging, dullness, or if your skin needs something in that moment where you need a little bit more injection of life into your skin. It's a really interesting texture. It's this lightweight gel cream, super lightweight gel cream, that's a clear part with these tiny green capsules and they melt down really really easily as you massage it into the skin."

I first used it maybe two weeks ago, fell in love, and it's one of my favorite products now that I use every morning because it just calms, soothes, and really gives like a burst of hydration and peptide action to the skin. PDRN is one of the biggest trends in skincare right now, and it's a great ingredient to boost collagen and elastin production and firm the skin. You've got to be really careful with the products that you buy to make sure you're getting that PDRN in a meaningful concentration because it's very trendy, so brands will put it on the label but not actually put a meaningful amount in the product. This has a sky high amount of PDRN. It also has seven different peptides in it, it's got ceramides. This is going to firm, lift, tighten, and just help really nourish the skin. It's a great great product, and one that whilst it's new to my skincare routine, I definitely think is going to be a feature throughout 2025."

"This is my favorite of all the Reedle Shot line. It has those spicules that actually make sure that the ingredient penetrates a little bit more effectively. Now for those of you that don't want the spicule one, there is a spicule-free version an essence with that PDRN without spicules. I like the spicules, I think it plumps skin, it hydrates, it's really nice. And PDRN is great, it's anti-inflammatory, it prevents premature aging, it's great for boosting collagen for some long-term anti-aging. I love it. I kept this in the fridge, the cooling definitely helps. I stick with the 100, they do a 300 version, it's too much for me. At least stick with the 100, I think that works most well for most people. How I do this is I pack it in the skin, no rubbing, don't use it like a pumice stone or something, just gently pat it into the skin. It will sink in, those spicules will get to work and it will sink in."

Everything about this is keeping things calm, protecting that collagen, but it's also very pro-collagen as well, so it'll help increase the rate of collagen and elastin production in the skin. This has that Reedle technology with little spicules that help get everything into the skin. So I use it last because if you put this on last it'll just help everything else you've already put on the skin penetrate that little bit better. I wouldn't use this on the T-zone on my tret nights because I don't want tret to penetrate any deeper, I don't want to get more sensitivity, so I don't. But on the non-tret nights I will use this."

"What I really like about this one is just how refreshing it feels. I do have combination skin that leans oily in the summertime, and I do like to use this one in the summer. I started using this last summer and I was like, I love capsule creams. It feels so refreshing, so good in the heat and the humidity. My skin can breathe. I love the plumpness factor of these types of moisturizers, but I love that I can still get a kiss of moisture because my skin, even being combo, even being on the oily side, still responds to a good amount of moisture. The capsules are really just plops of lotion, very easy to scoop out with your little spatula and mix into your moisturizer. There is some skin entertainment value involved here, a little bit of beauty to these that I really appreciate, but I do think that they're incredibly functional as well and really great options for the summertime. VT being a little bit lighter, definitely a choice for oily skin, definitely a choice for balanced skin. If your combo skin gets real oily, you might like the lighter feel of this one."

"This would be a true anti-aging moisturizer packed with valuable ingredients. The banner ingredient in here is PDRN, which stands for polydeoxynucleotide, which originally in skin care was a DNA fragment derived from salmon sperm. Despite that somewhat unappealing origin, this is an ingredient that is very popular in Korean skin care because of its touted abilities to help with wound healing, anti-inflammation, and skin regeneration. I will say this cream is so much more than PDRN to me. The fact that this has an incredible array of anti-aging peptides that are very evidence-based, plus it has panthenol and shea butter and jojoba seed oil and squalane, it's just packed with nourishing ingredients. This absolutely could serve as the most enriching, nourishing nighttime moisturizer that also has all these incredible anti-aging properties. I just feel like this is a blow-me-away type of product. "This one was in my favorite Korean moisturizers video from VT, their PDRN capsule cream. The formula itself as well as the textures just simply delightful, beautiful. It's moisturizing enough, but it's also just hydrating enough as well. Nine peptides, five different ceramides, and 10 different forms of hyaluronic acid. But their form of vegan PDRN is ginseng root, which you know I love. This, in my experience, is probably the most flattering of them all. Whether or not you get more cream to gel ratio or more gel to cream ratio, it's actually not that easy to control. I actually really love when the pot starts getting messy. I feel like I get actually better applications that way and I can control the ratio of cream to gel better."
