What the gurus are saying

Gurus appreciate the taste and that the product contains tested collagen peptides with supporting nutrients, though enthusiasm is tempered by uncertainty about actual efficacy. The recurring concern is sugar content, with some reviewers questioning whether gummy supplements are worth the added sugars. One reviewer reported the powder tastes unpleasant plain but mixes well into flavored beverages. The consensus leans cautiously positive on tolerability and brand reputation, but genuine conviction about benefits remains elusive.

"Vital Proteins collagen gummies. This is an unflavored powder. You can mix it with your coffee. I will say if you drink it with just plain water, it tastes like I think pea would taste like. So, you want to mix it with something like coffee that has a taste. But these were fine. And a big bottle. 120. Although, you're supposed to take four at a time. So, 120 is actually more like a month's worth. But I usually just took two at a time."

"This one contains protein, iron, collagen peptides, and then several amino acids. I'm still kind of torn on it, but it's kind of starting to show that some of these collagen gummies when they use certain peptides can be beneficial. I'm not exactly sure how beneficial, but it's looking like there's anecdotal evidence that it might be. I don't know, it wasn't too bad, and I guess going with the iron and protein in here wasn't a bad thing. And they're not that expensive."

"Vital Proteins has done very well. These are their collagen gummies, they taste like grape, they're wonderful, they taste good. You have to eat, I think, four of them, and they've got collagen peptides from bovine. It does have some sugar calories in it because it actually tastes really good. These have tested well with the consumer lab. Most of the products from this brand have tested quite well."

"I have also tried the Vital Proteins Collagen Gummies, which have 2.5 g of Verisol as well. I did not get along well with Vital Proteins' actual collagen, it for sure caused acne for me, but I've not had any problem with the gummies. Honestly, though, I don't take them a lot. I try to be very mindful of what I'm eating, and they have 5 g of total sugars. If I'm going to get sugar, I want to get it from my food and not necessarily from a gummy."
