It can be used on a more widespread basis and not as irritating as some of the other spot treatment sulfur products that I personally have tried in the past. It's a great one if you have either a pimple that you want to dry really quickly that you can just dot on to spot treat or apply to particular areas that you struggle a little bit more with acne that can also at the same time treat acne, maybe prevent acne and certainly help to reduce some of that post acne marks as well."

"Vichy has the Normaderm SOS Acne Rescue Spot Corrector. This is a sulfur treatment. Sulfur is anti-inflammatory and can help impart acne control. This can be used either as a spot treatment or to a more widespread area. It's creamy like a paste. The sulfur is anti-inflammatory, and in addition to that, it has resorcinol and glycolic acid, both of which help get the sulfur into the skin better. The glycolic acid helps dissolve the glue between sticky skin cells for smoother skin texture and reduces the chances of pores becoming clogged. It's got niacinamide, which is helpful for redness and can help reduce oiliness. I really like this as a spot treatment for acne and especially for pregnancy. But you don't have to be pregnant to consider it, especially if you have very sensitive skin or find you struggle with other acne spot treatments like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Some people have an overlap between acne and rosacea where they get comedones and pimples but also have sensitivity, redness, flushing, and pustules, and this product I think you might consider."
