"For a nice alternative for 15 bucks is the Verse Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Solution. In here we've also got the AHC acid we have a exfoliant, glycolic acid, and then instead of sorbic acid in here we've got Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. So this one is about 20 bucks less and it's really nice. It's also got some fruit extracts, bearberry extract and things like that. If you're looking to brighten things up, it's also got nice niacinamide, bearberry, green tea. It's very nice."

You can do it two ways: just one pump and you can pat it into your skin very gently, or if you have a little bit of extra roughness to your skin and you need a little bit more, I take a cotton round and one or two pumps and then just gently swipe along the skin. "This is one of my favorite products from Verse, at least my top three. It's the Weekend Glow Daily Brightening Solution, and this is where we are truly bringing vitamin C into this routine without the sting from a serum. This has Tetra hexyl decyl ascorbate in it, which is a type of vitamin C that actually penetrates the skin very well. It has the least amount of irritation and stinging compared to the L ascorbic acid form, and you get really good results from this form of vitamin C. You do not need to feel like you need a separate vitamin C serum just to get results. You can actually just start with a moisturizer that has vitamin C in it and go from here. The consistency is a lightweight cream, so it's a little more than a gel but a little less than a heavy cream."
