What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise the texture, hydration, and non-greasy feel, highlighting that it delivers vitamin C benefits without the sting of a serum. The lightweight cream consistency works well for both day and night use and doesn't pill on skin. Strong consensus that it's an affordable option that performs competitively against pricier alternatives, and that you don't need a separate vitamin C serum if using this moisturizer.

"It's the weekend glow daily brightening moisturizer that retails for $19.99 at Target. I really really love the texture, it's nourishing, it's hydrating, it supports your skin barrier yet it's non-greasy, it's not going to clog your pores. Verse makes great products that are also vegan, cruelty-free, as well as fragrance-free. This contains various different types of vitamin C including THD ascorbate along with other plant-derived extracts like carrot extract that fights free radicals and currently has some antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits as well as other plant-derived seed oils that are just really nourishing for your skin barrier. You will use this after cleansing, you've hydrated your skin, you provide some skin barrier support at the same time with active ingredients that can also help to serve as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actives in that moisturizer."

"The weekend glow daily brightening moisturizer is one of my favorite products from Verse, at least my top three. This is where we are truly bringing vitamin C into this routine without the sting from a serum. This has Tetra hexyl decyl ascorbate in it, which is a type of vitamin C that actually penetrates the skin very well. It has the least amount of irritation and stinging compared to the L ascorbic acid form, and you get really good results from this form of vitamin C. You do not need to feel like you need a separate vitamin C serum just to get results, you can actually just start with a moisturizer that has vitamin C in it and go from here. The consistency is a lightweight cream, so it's a little more than a gel but a little less than a heavy cream, so this is really great for day or night."

"This is such a nice moisturizer and you do not need to feel like you need a separate vitamin C serum just to get results. You can actually just start with a moisturizer that has vitamin C in it. The consistency is a lightweight cream, so it's a little more than a gel but a little less than a heavy cream, which is really great for day or night. This is also good at bringing more antioxidants into our routine because it has some other additional antioxidant extracts in it to protect our skin throughout the day. And this does not pill on the skin, so it is really perfect for daytime use. This is actually less money than some of my favorite drugstore moisturizers, and it really is just one of the best products that this brand sells."
