What the gurus are saying

Gurus agree the glue delivers exceptional hold and bonds fast, but it polarizes on application. The standout strength is durability that withstands sweat, tears, and water. The friction point is how quickly it sets: some find this tacky onset ideal for secure placement, while others caution that the instant stickiness can be tricky for beginners and may lead to excess glue or messy application.

"The Velour lash glue is quick, very quick. It's kind of like immediately out of the tube, tacky, a little bit more tacky. It doesn't have a ton of dry time if you kind of take it out and put it out on your lash, it's just instantly tacky. It's very, very sticky. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of that because if you get a glue that is too tacky, it actually can be very difficult for beginners and it can end up just kind of globbing up in certain areas and it can result in too much glue. It can get messy. If you're someone who hates a runny lash glue and you've been looking for something more sticky, this is great."

"For lash glue, I'm using the Velour Lash Glue. This is an all-hold. You can cry, you can sweat, you could probably jump in a pool and your lashes will not come off with this glue. This is an incredible glue that I love."
