Of course you can still say there is a white cast, that just is part of the game, but they did a good job of making this lightweight. Vanicream is nice because they don't put all the extras in it. There's no botanical ingredients, there's no essential oils. It's just straight up zinc and the inactive ingredients, ceramides, stuff that we like. We also have squalane, we have glycerin, things that can be hydrating. This is a nice option, but again they're a little thicker, so some people with oily skin or acne-prone skin may not want a mineral sunscreen because it's a little too thick and occlusive for their pores that tend to get clogged up and cause inflammation leading to acne lesions."

"If you have sensitive skin, Vanicream is the goat of sensitive skin care. This is an underrated brand that doesn't get enough attention or credit. They are free of a lot of the extras: dyes, fragrance, masking fragrance, lanoline, parabens. This is a nice brand that I even trust with my children's skin. I use their moisturizers for my kids when they have dry skin. Their facial moisturizer is zinc oxide based only, so for those who do not like chemical UV filters in their moisturizers with SPF or their sunscreens, this is a nice one. SPF 30 and not water resistant. It's a nice option to put on before you go to the office or go for a nice walk outside. What I like about this is that zinc oxide only, but it's quite light for a zinc oxide containing sunscreen. There's always going to be a little white cast with a lot of these sunscreens that are zinc based. It does a nice job, it's very affordable, and you can find this at Target or online."

I hear about a moisturizer that's zinc oxide based and I'm like pretty skeptical how's this going to work, but for some reason they made this a nice lighter weight zinc oxide based moisturizer. Now zinc oxide is traditionally a thick paste with a white cast. This one, yes, might have a little bit of a white cast, a little bit more elbow grease, but it's actually pretty impressive. Vanicream, I would say, is a goat of sensitive skincare. Where if you have a lot of sensitivities, if you have sensitive skin, hard to go wrong with Vanicream. They make a great cleanser that's so gentle that even my kids when they're babies I would bathe them with the Vanicream facial cleanser and their daily facial moisturizer, so good, and then the one with SPF, home run."
