"For those that are looking for options for kids or just have ultra sensitive skin, rosacea prone skin, Vanicream is a brand I typically recommend to my patients. They have a lot of great products suitable for rosacea, eczema prone skin, or those that just have a lot of sensitivities or allergies. Their Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is pure mineral and it has nonnano zinc oxide that helps to prevent sunburns and protects against UVA and UVB. It does take some time for it to blend in and you do kind of have to rub it in well. It can potentially leave a white cast on your skin, which just depends on your skin tone and how long you let it sit on your skin. For me it kind of leaves a little bit of a brightening effect on my skin, but if you have super dark skin it may look a little ashy. It is non-comedogenic and water resistant up to 80 minutes. It's a great product, more suitable for those that have rosacea and super sensitive skin, and it's also nice for kids."

"I'm going to go with the Vanicream sunscreen that is Broad Spectrum SPF 50 that retails about $17.99 on Amazon and at Walgreens. Going with this one because number one it contains zinc oxide mineral filter only, and for most people with acne-prone skin I do find that they tend to do better with mineral sunscreen. It's light, far less irritating, and for some people they feel that chemical sunscreen may break them out more, so I feel like it's just safer all around, better choice for those that have acne-prone skin. This one is also water resistant for up to 80 minutes. As far as the elegance, when you first put it on you may feel like there's a little bit of a white cast, but once you rub it in completely and give it some time, let it sit on your skin, I do feel that whiteness dissipate. So overall I feel like it is pretty suitable for more skin tones."
