What the gurus are saying

The formula blends beautifully and the included brushes are genuinely useful, earning this palette lasting appeal among those who love classic, wearable neutrals. Grungy but approachable warm browns create soft dimension without demanding bold looks, though the light matte selection means shimmer shades carry more of the definition work. It reads more as a treasured staple than an exciting new buy, yet reviewers keep reaching for it far more than expected.

"This Urban Decay Naked Palette was in my best makeup of 2025 video. I've been raving about this since the very first time I tried it. It is one of my favorite palettes of all time because it has 10 pans of color, but the four in the center are cream eyeshadows. I love to use them either as an eyeshadow base or as a primer. They help make my crinkly, discolored eyelids look smooth and beautiful, but they also help the powder shadows stay in place and blend out so beautifully. I get the smoothest blend with this palette."

I Tried HOT NEW Makeup at Sephora! So You Don't Have To...
"I'm really kind of digging this palette. I just think this is so good. I love that it gives you cream eyeshadows, it gives you powder eyeshadows, it gives you mattes and shimmers. It's very versatile and I think it'd be great for travel especially. It's great that you can use these creams as eyeshadows, as an eyehadow base. You can also use them to contour your face and you can also use them as eyeliner."

"The formula is beautiful, really really good. It blends incredibly well. The brush is really, really great, it's a really great blending brush and this small little detail brush inside. Is it exciting as a palette? No, not really. But I think it's beautiful for those of us who love makeup, who love the industry, who love a classic. If you are in the market for Urban Decay's first ever Naked Palette, I would 100% recommend it. Would I [...] have purchased this initially? No, but that's because I'm going off this buying eyeshadow palette situation because I have so many and I don't need anymore. But I'm happy I own it because the palette itself is beautiful and the formula is beautiful."

Is Urban Decay TROLLING us!???? | bad releases and poor business choices
"I love the packaging, love the vibes, but it does feel very cheap. It is a slide-open palette, and it just feels flimsy. It does not feel high quality at all. I started to do a look with it. I dipped in. They have four creams in the middle. I love that they tried to add new formulas, but they don't work. I started putting it on the lid, and would anyone expect that color to be that non-existent on the eye? I tested the matching powder on top of it, and barely anything showed up. I don't even want to call this a rebrand because basically it's just a revamped version of the Naked Palette. But you're going to tease stuff like this to make us think we're going back to the '90s with grunge and colorful fun makeup, and then you give us this? What the hell is going on? We have enough of this on the market already. We want the fun makeup back. I love Urban Decay, and I know she can do it, and I keep giving her chances, but we're on thin ice."
Why Some Makeup Brands Are Winning — and Others Are Dying
"That whole time period, right? It was an era of, let's be real, beauty YouTube, a time when the Urban Decay Naked Palette, for example, was like practically a rite of passage."

"The Naked palettes, right, used to be an icon. I don't know if people use them anymore."

"I just absolutely love this palette so much. It was honestly the best palette that Urban Decay ever released in my opinion. I always wore shade Sin on the lid and I also brought a little bit of it underneath that brow bone as well and in the inner corners. [...] For the crease I always went in with shade Naked, which is like the lightest brown shade, and I just threw that all in the crease."

MY 3 FAVORITE FALL LIP LOOKS 😍
"We're going to take the shade Naked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which has been a fall staple for me, and I'm just going to apply this all over the lid and up through the crease just to create some soft dimension there. I'm also taking that color and running just a little bit along the lower lash line. This is not like a specific color necessarily that makes this look what it will become; it's more about just creating that soft dimension around the eyes and making it not too bold so the lip can really stand out."
The BEST Makeup & Skincare from August 2024!
"I love the colors, they look so flattering. I love how they're kind of like grungy but very approachable. There's just nothing I don't like about this. I wish there were a little bit more deeper mattes, but at the same time I'm also enjoying the fact that I can kind of experiment and see what it looks like to use shimmer shades to create definition around the eyes. Because there's not as many matte shades in here or deeper matte shades, I feel like it kind of gives me a chance to try something new. Every time I've used this, I love how my eyeshadow looks. I don't know, it feels nostalgic and it just feels special and it feels exciting to me even though it's an old palette. I think it's so great and I've been surprised at how much I've used it."
THE BEST MAKEUP OF 2024!!! (Final Episode)
"Urban Decay brought back their Naked Palette and I love it, it's so good. I especially love the more grungy browns and have used it more than I thought I would. It [...] didn't launch this year since it's an iconic palette, but they relaunched it and I got so much use out of it. It's a beautiful palette and such a classic color scheme."
