What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise All Nighter as a reliable, iconic product that delivers on long-wear claims across all skin types and conditions. The recurring strength is its ability to keep makeup locked without feeling heavy or creasing. One reviewer flagged concern about recent formula changes (stronger preservatives, freeze-dried aloe instead of liquid) and questioned the ethics of reformulating without transparency. One user noted excess hydration on oily skin in the face center. Overall, it reads as a dependable workhorse most gurus repurchase regularly.

"The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is a cult favorite known for its long-lasting, high-performance formula. It gives you up to 16-hour wear and keeps your makeup locked in place for up to 16 hours without smudging, fading, or settling into fine lines. If you are applying makeup and you want it to last all night, this is your product because those little creases will not be filled with makeup. It will stay on even in the most humid weather, even if you're sweating or if it's raining. Yet it doesn't feel heavy, it's really lightweight and very breathable. I think it's suitable for all skin types; it'll work well on oily, combination, dry, and sensitive skin. It's also transfer-resistant, so if you're going to hug somebody and you're worried about your makeup getting on their clothing, this will help with that."

"If I had to pick one, I would just do this one. I think it just kind of checks all the boxes for me. When I need it, it comes in, and it literally stays like you wouldn't believe. It won't melt your makeup off. This is not like a daily thing for me because it's so intense, but when I need it, it's magic."

Is Urban Decay TROLLING us!???? | bad releases and poor business choices
"The new formula has stronger preservatives and added antioxidant. They might have changed over to using freeze-dried aloe vera instead of liquid for a better shelf life. So all things considered, dropping Scandinavia for the sake of swapping out a couple ingredients definitely seems a little bit unethical because they've taken the formula but changed a few things. It's like, oh, this is butter. Yeah, but it's salted butter."
Is Urban Decay TROLLING us!???? | bad releases and poor business choices
"The new formula has stronger preservatives and added antioxidant. And they might have changed over to using freeze-dried aloe vera instead of liquid for a better shelf life. So all things considered, them dropping Scandinavia for the sake of swapping out a couple ingredients definitely seems a little bit unethical because they've taken the formula but changed a few things. I'm a little bit like I can't tell if I'm mad at them or not. I'm mad at them for not doing well, for not doing their best. It's kind of shitty to do something like that. The wording could have perhaps been a little bit better instead of saying like new and improved about a formula that already exists within a different brand."

How I conceal my dark circles ANNND prevent creasing!
"One of the favorites is the All Nighter from Urban Decay. It's a good one. If you feel like you've applied a little too much powder, you just want to make sure that if you spritz your face with this you're not drenching your face. You want to make sure you're holding it back far enough and also you want to make sure that you're keeping your face like the way you want it to be, don't be doing anything while it dries. You just want to make sure you're not creasing up your face or whatever. And that's a really good way if you feel like you went in with a little too much powder to kind of just melt things back into your skin, and it also helps with long wear ability."

My current makeup faves & a lil secrettt 🙃
"I love the All Nighter setting mist because I feel like it keeps things in place for the most part but it was just like creating too much hydration especially in the center of my face. It was adding too much hydration and you know creating more oil in my face than I needed."
