"This is a makeup primer, but it's one of those makeup products that feels like it is a beautiful collaboration with makeup and skincare. It feels like a skincare product, but I think the reason that I've really fallen in love with it is it's not just something that feels good but it actually performs well. I've been using it as my primer for quite a while now [...] and it really does help everything grip to the skin and last a really nice time, but it also really smooths the skin. This is not an aggressive product so I can use this morning and night time. It pairs with retinoids, it pairs with all different types of ingredients. It's also creamy and moisturizing in texture too, so it's perfect for the colder weather. I tend to have a little bit more visible pores and [...] I feel like this primer helps to smooth that so that it doesn't look as orange peely."

"The Tula Filter Primer is one of those primers that I actually just like to wear on its own, it's really pretty on its own, it just kind of gives a nice blurring effect, soft glow. I do see why people say this smells a bit funny, I think it smells like postbiotics to me."

21 Days of Beauty Week 3: VERY Mixed Thoughts
"I bought one of Tula's filter primers in the last sale. I want to love Tula more than I do, there's so many tiny details that kind of ruin their products for me. This one is gritty, almost like it's got a microdermabrasion effect in it, so that was a miss for me personally. I live in a very hot climate though, so it's possible this isn't gritty for other people but went through a heat change on the way to me."
