"My pick was the Tula Triple C vitamin drops. It's got three different types of vitamin C in it. It's really expensive when it first came out I debated picking it up and then after looking at the price I'm like you know what that's pretty expensive. I love the Geek and Gorgeous C Glow, it's always right here handy, so I didn't pick it up. But on sale I think it might be worth a whirl, so that one might be one worth checking out."

I would say this is just extremely robust vitamin C, and normally at a good price point of $58, and then 30% off, that's around $40. Strong vitamin C, I think it's a good deal. Ethyl ascorbic acid is hard to formulate with and expensive to formulate with, so I do think that it's even more expensive to formulate with 30% ethyl ascorbic acid, actually far more expensive than it is to formulate with pure L-ascorbic acid. Ethyl ascorbic acid is more expensive from a formulation standpoint and an expense standpoint, so 30% ethyl ascorbic acid serums are more expensive. This is the product that you'll find scattered around my house that I would purchase right now and I would try to get the jumbo size to get the most value out."

"This has citrus peel extract in it as well, which may be a more natural source of vitamin C, but citrus extracts can be irritating, especially if you already have pre-existing fragrance allergies or a lot of compounds in citrus extracts that can cross react with that sensitivity. This has sea buckthorn oil in it, which is an emollient that I actually rather enjoy in skincare products. My reservations with vitamin C make this a product that I'm skeptical about. With vitamin C serums, you really just never know if they're actually going to end up working out or doing anything for you, and if anything they can end up being a lot more irritating."

"I do like some products from Tula, but in all truth, this triple vitamin C serum is not one of my personal favorites. It uses ethyl ascorbic acid, and the catch with vitamin C derivatives like this one is there's just not the body of literature supporting them. This isn't to say they don't work, I do believe they work for some people, but I think it's worth trying L-ascorbic acid first before you try the derivatives."
