"The Tripolar, I'm not sponsored by them, but it's the one I'm most familiar with, and it can be helpful for skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as improving skin texture. It has heat sensing technology, so it will automatically turn off if the temperature gets above 40 degrees, which is a safety mechanism because it prevents overheating of the epidermis, so it would be very unlikely for this device to end up impacting someone's fat compartments. Their industry sponsored study did demonstrate a decrease in wrinkles around the mouth and around the eyes, statistically significant with their device, though unfortunately the study was not blinded."
