What the gurus are saying

Gurus are overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with Dr Dray repeatedly featuring it as a repurchase favorite. The consensus praises its ability to stay put on skin during shaving without gunking up razors or making a mess, while rinsing off cleanly and efficiently. Reviewers consistently highlight the pleasant but non-lingering fragrances, moisturizing feel, and superior mess-control compared to traditional shaving creams. The main caveat: fragrance allergies are a dealbreaker. Watermelon is the standout scent.

"I really love the Tree Hut shave oil and I have two. I have the vanilla and the watermelon. Both fragrances are heavenly. They really just keep my legs hydrated after I shave them and it just helps the razor to glide over a lot smoother. Haven't had any nicks or anything."

"I ride or die for the shave oils. Tree Hut Shave Oil. Love it to bits. The shave oil is just another way to create a barrier between you and the razor blade to cut down on irritation and dryness. They're meant to rinse off the skin and they don't clog the razor. I mean, love them."

*BEST* Skincare Products To Buy At TJ Maxx
"These Tree Hut Shave Oils, I love them. They stay on the skin really well while you're shaving, they protect against shave irritation, and they're not as messy as like a shaving cream or shaving foam. I end up using less product with these because they're a lot easier to more precisely put on your skin. Shaving creams I tend to find get all over the place."
I Finished A TON Of Skincare & Hair Care | 2025 Empties
"Would not be an empties video for me without an appearance from Tree Hut and their shave oil. I go through one of these shave oils about every season. I don't end up needing to use very much of this product. It works really well. I love shave oils. This has oat kernel extract, jojoba seed oil, coconut oil, argan oil, shea butter. Glides on the skin easily. Protects the skin from shave irritation. Rinses off. Doesn't actively scent your skin, but is pleasant to use. Doesn't make a mess in your shower. Love these. Love the pump packaging, too, for easy application in the shower."
My Top 5 Most Purchased Skincare Products Of The Year!
"I've been really happy with Tree Hut Shave Oil because it is a product that has a variety of different oils in it but it actually goes on your skin pretty easily and stays in place while you're shaving. It doesn't gum up the razor, it doesn't get all over the shower, but then it efficiently rinses off the skin. The fragrance in these products is actually very nice, it's there while you're showering and shaving, but after you rinse it off the scent does not linger. My favorite is the watermelon scent. It has grapeseed oil, jojoba seed oil, sunflower seed oil, and allantoin, so these different oils may also provide some anti-inflammatory compounds, although take that with a grain of salt because oils are highly variable. If you are allergic to fragrance this is not one to use, but I'm telling you I've been really happy with Tree Hut. It's not just an overhyped TikTok phenomenon, I really do think their body washes and this shave oil are effective products."
*NEW* SKINCARE AT TARGET WE NEED TO DISCUSS 🛍
"I love Tree Hut. If you're not allergic to fragrance and you're looking for a shave product, try this out. The watermelon one is really nice. I currently have the birthday cake one and I don't like that scent so much."
TONS OF SKINCARE EMPTIES!
"I love these Tree Hut Shave Oils and I want more brands to come out with these shave oils because this is so good. Tree Hut has really delivered in my opinion on a shaved product that is unique. It's moisturizing, it creates a nice moisturizing film on the skin surface to cut down on shave irritation. I love the scents, they're not strong, they're not overpowering. I also love the fact that you put it on the skin and while you are in the shower trying to shave your legs, it will actually stay put on your legs while you go about your shaving routine, but then it rinses off efficiently when you actually actively try and rinse it off, so it doesn't leave behind any kind of irritating residue on the skin. It does have fragrance, so if you're allergic, not for you."

"I love this stuff. I got it at Kroger and it actually is lasting a good long while. It feels almost like a moisturizer going on. The smell is nice but quite strong. It doesn't linger. It's just a very nice lubricating product to cut down on shave irritation."
The Best Remedies For Dry Skin On The Legs

*2023* ULTA BEAUTY GIFT SETS & EARLY BLACK FRIDAY DEALS
"If you're not allergic to fragrance you need to try the shave oil. It is going to be a 2023 skincare favorite, specifically the watermelon scent. The scents are not strong, they make for a pleasant in shower experience but they don't linger after you get out of the shower. I love them because they're moisturizing, they don't clog the razor, and they stay on the skin when you're in the shower. With shaving cream and shaving foam you'll get a blob and a bunch of it ends up all over the shower and it's a mess. This actually goes right on your skin and stays there and creates a nice barrier to cut down on shave irritation, and it rinses off easily too."
