"Torriden's low molecular hyaluronic acid serum is genuinely interesting from a chemist perspective. After water we've got glycol and glycerin, your standard humectant base, then panthenol sitting high on the label, which tells me it's there at a meaningful amount, excellent for hydration and barrier support. Then there's the hyaluronic acid complex, and this is where Torriden does something most serums don't: five different forms of hyaluronic acid at different molecular weights, so you're getting hydration working simultaneously at different depths of the skin, not just on the surface. It also has allantoin, one of my favorite soothing humectants, plus ceramide NP for barrier support and bitter glucan for antioxidants and barrier repair. This formula has a lot going on and all of it is working toward the same goal: deep, sustained hydration with barrier support. There's no fragrance, no essential oils, and it's alcohol free. This is a very well thought out formula, the five form hyaluronic acid system isn't just marketing, the molecular weight variation is a real formulation decision, and the label backs it up. If you have sensitive or reactive skin and want something fragrance free, this is one of the most well formulated pure hydration serums I've seen at this price point, and the label fully backs up what it promises."

"This serum is a cult favorite because it is lightweight, hydrating, but yet it is not sticky or tacky. It really delivers that deep hydration without clogging pores. So it's suitable for all skin types, especially if you have oily and combination skin prone to dehydration but don't want anything heavy, greasy, tacky, or sticky. It really works well under makeup, SPF, your moisturizer. I've not found this serum to peel or cause your skin care when layered on top of it to ball up in any way. It's got this 5D complex of hyaluronic acid. That is what really makes this formulation unique: it uses not just one or two but five different types of hyaluronic acid of different weights. Some penetrate deeper, some sit more on top to provide that instant hydration and plumpness. It also contains panthenol and allantoin that we know is soothing and calming. I believe it's all fragrance free, so really great for even sensitive skin. This serum is amazing for those with sensitive skin or combination or oily skin, or those who want something lighter to use in the summertime."

"[Torriden] is this one brand that has a bunch of like hyaluronic acid products. This right here is the Dive In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum. When it comes to hyaluronic acid weights, you can think of them as like cookies, right? Sometimes we have big cookies and sometimes we have like the mini chocolate crunchy chips, and hyaluronic acid can come in different sizes. It sounds like an acid, it doesn't exfoliate, it's not dangerous. Some people are afraid of it, but it's actually made naturally by our bodies. It's in our synovial fluid and cartilage. But when it is introduced to the skin, it can actually hold on to water molecules and bring them deeper into the skin as long as it has that moisture available. If you live in a dry desert climate, maybe don't use it, but if you live in humid weather or if you're traveling, phenomenal. And again, this is the Dive In serum with that low molecular weight, so those little cookies are really, really tiny for this one, which means it can theoretically get deeper into the skin as long as the other conditions and the rest of the formula is right. When I look at this, the ingredients do look good. It hydrates and soothes. It's got three different beauty awards."
