Nothing. None of the experts who reviewed it raised a problem.

    What the gurus are saying

This cream transforms from a thick texture into a lightweight gel-cream as you apply it, leaving skin smooth without any greasy residue. The formula layers three types of hyaluronic acid at different molecular weights to hydrate multiple skin depths, paired with five ceramides for barrier repair. Those seeking a moisturizer that hydrates all day while finishing semi-matte rather than shiny will find it does exactly that, and a little goes a long way.

"Along with the multiple ceramides, this has triple Hyaluronic Acid. So it's Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid. So the idea behind that is they're different molecular weights, so they're able to get into different layers of the skin and plump from different layers of the skin too. What I love about the texture of this is that at first, it feels very, very heavy. But as I'm rubbing it in, it kind of then just turns into like a watery texture without disappearing on the skin. It goes from being this thick cream to kind of feeling like a gel cream and leaves your skin feeling super smooth and soft. And it lasts forever. This lasts so long. So, so long. I remember, like, in Summer trying to get rid of it because it just wasn't going anywhere. So I was like using it on my elbows and on my knees, those areas where you do get a little bit more dry. Yeah. Love this one. This is like a restock for me. This is a product I'll always have."

"This cream is enriched with three types of hyaluronic acid and five multi-ceramides providing essential skin barrier repair. It has a very unique sorbet or sherbet texture that immediately melts into your skin so you don't feel any heavy, greasy, oily film at all, but it still does a great job at holding all the moisture and hydration inside all day long. If you're looking for a more natural semi-matte finish, Tocobo Multi Ceramide Cream is going to be your friend."

    What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

    Humectants and emollients

Ingredients like these draw water into the surface layers and slow how fast it leaves. The evidence is for comfort, softness and hydration rather than for changing the structure of the skin.
