Milk Skin Toner.

"It's actually packed full of peptides. This is a great anti-aging toner and essence. While some people will just use this as a bit of a milky hydrator, they probably don't realize they're getting a lot of anti-aging benefit too. It contains my favorite peptide Auraline, known as Botox in a bottle, which is going to smooth out and help minimize dynamic fine lines and wrinkles, and it's really really nice. I've used this a couple of times, this is my second bottle I'm opening now. It has a really nice milky consistency. Your skin will drink this up, honestly, it will just sink in. Hydrate, plump, great for anti-aging. I paid £6 for this and you get 150ml, so it's quite affordable. Of all the products I mentioned today, this is definitely in my top three of these bestsellers. So, so good and worthy of a place on this list."

"They say it leaves zero film, but there is a slight film. If you put a product on top like your sunscreen or makeup, it disappears, so it's not an issue. If you were literally just going to use this and walk out the door, there would be a slight tackiness to the skin. It's not off-putting and wouldn't stop me using the product, but I think it's something worth calling out. Overall, I'm going to give this eight out of 10. I love the ingredients, I think the price point is divine, the packaging is really expensive and bougie feeling for what we're actually paying, and I think it's a really nice, well thought through toner. Do I think it's the world's best toner? No. Do I think it's an entire skincare routine in one? No. I still would want to use some additional peptides, some vitamin C, some sunscreen alongside it. But it's a nice way of streamlining, getting a little peptide action, getting some amino acids and some hydration. If you crave that bouncy, plump, juicy skin, this is probably the toner that's going to give you that in the shortest possible time."

"It contains everything you would expect from a good quality milky toner. You've got the ceramides, you've got the humectants, you've got the panthenol, the calming and soothing ingredients. It has a really, really nice texture to this one. It's slightly on the thinner side of what you'd expect from a milky toner, but some people will really appreciate and like that. It's like a drink for the skin. Your skin will love it and it will just soak up all that hydration and calm and soothe at the same time. This is really the product that first went viral and kickstarted the milky toner craze. They do now do a light version, which is just a bit lighter on the humectant. So, not as hydrating, but a lighter finish. If you've got oily skin, go for the light version. If you've got more dehydrated skin, go for the original. It definitely delivers, and I'm honestly going to give that a solid eight out of 10."

"This has chamomile, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, witch hazel, and the list goes on. I use this in the morning sometimes and at night time depending on how I feel. It never causes peeling with other skincare products. It sits nice underneath sunscreen and makeup. I use this right after cleansing and I absolutely love this toner. I love how it soothes the skin as well. If your skin barrier is a little compromised, this would be a great addition to incorporate to heal your skin to get it back where it should be. It spreads really nicely. There is no sticky or tackiness at all, but you will have a little bit of a glow to your skin. The more you apply, the more you will achieve that glass-like skin, but I don't feel like you need too much of this. A little bit does go a long way. It provides that perfect amount of moisture without making your skin look super greasy and dewy. It is absolutely beautiful."

"I actually just purchased this a couple of weeks ago and I am really impressed with this. I really like this because it's like a true toner. It does have a milkiness to it but it's even more thin and lightweight than the serum. This is a very moisturizing nourishing toner but it's also quite brightening on the skin as well. Because I've only used it for a couple weeks I haven't really noticed that yet but in time this can be a very brightening toner because of the ingredients. There is niacinamide in here, rice bran extract, there's also hyaluronic acid, ceramides, there's also chamomile and the list goes on. Very hydrating nourishing ingredients perfect for using after the peeling solution."

"I really don't like this toner and it definitely gained a lot of interest and popularity. They are really focusing in on the chamomile extract that they're using in the formula. This actually does have soothing and anti-inflammatory properties for the skin, but it is definitely an extract that can cause some sensitivity issues for certain folks with very sensitive skin. They're also using rice bran extract, which is very popular in K beauty and can really lightly moisturize the skin, but it's also something that smooths the skin, brightens the skin, brings a lot of antioxidant care as well. They've got niacinamide, another brightener in here. They've got sodium hyaluronic that helps to bring hydration. And then they have ceramide NP, which everybody's throwing a little ceramide NP into their products because everybody knows ceramides are so good for your skin and for your skin barrier."

"This product really blew up in popularity around 2023, 2024. The majority of the soothing is coming from Roman chamomile extract, which has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. There's rice bran, which is moisturizing and skin conditioning with a brightening effect, plus niacinamide and a solid hydration complex. I'm surprised there are no oils in here given how much moisture this brings to the skin. It's a very watery, pourable, skim milk type texture that sinks in nicely at first, but as it settles you get some silkiness and skin softening, and then a tiny bit of tackiness and a surprising greasiness even though there are no oils. As it dries it feels thicker on the skin. If you have oily skin, you're not going to like this, it will feel thick, tacky and greasy. I tested this a few years ago and it didn't impress me texture wise, it's not the most elegant texture in this category. After a few days of use my skin became more sensitive, inflamed and a little red, and when I took the toner out my skin bounced back, then the irritation would return when I brought it back in. Looking at the ingredients, the witch hazel extract can carry trace denatured alcohol, which I'm sensitive to, and there are also fragrant botanical extracts like peppermint, star anise and olive leaf that carry fragrant compounds even though the product is technically fragrance free. I rated it a seven out of ten originally because I could see why other people liked it, but it wasn't a toner for me and my sensitive skin. I recently retested it in 2026 and it still holds up the same way, my skin is stronger now but I still get that mild irritation with consistent use, and I still find the texture pretty off-putting, ranking pretty low among the cream and milk toners I've tried. I'm still rating it a seven out of ten. It's definitely not a fit for sensitive skin."

"There might be a little bit of scent but nothing I can actually identify as a scent, but then once you smooth it away you don't notice it. Feels nice on the skin though. I'm a big fan of peptides and ceramides and rice bran and centella and chamomile. It feels nice on the skin and it's on sale right now, normally like 30 bucks but I think it was like 14 bucks right now. The bottle's big and it'll probably last a long time. It did a good job removing rest of oil and stuff for my skin. I like it so far."

"It helps brighten skin as well as hydrate skin. It has a lot of soothing ingredients but it also has a few ingredients that may be problematic for sensitive skin. Overall it mostly does what it promises for most skin types. It's got a lot of brightening ingredients and some soothing ingredients, it's very hydrating which is nice. It's definitely on that tackier side but very hydrating and soothing. It will soothe most skin unless you're sensitive to some of those fragrance ingredients. I liked it. My skin is super sensitive and I'm very sensitive to fragrance, and I didn't notice any scent, so I would say this product is unscented but not fragrance-free. For acne prone skin there's only one ingredient of note and that's carbomer. I would say this is pretty well suited to dry, oily, and acne prone skin types. It's pretty suited for most skin types except for sensitive skin."

"This is a really moisturizing toner. We know toners to be mainly focusing on hydrating, but if your skin just needs that extra boost of moisture, maybe it's winter and your skin is changing and your moisturizer isn't quite cutting it for you, or you have very oily skin and you want something that's a nice light moisture, this is great for that because you get your hydration and you get your moisture. They say it's got 24-hour moisture retention, and I've not tested it for 24 hours, but my skin feels well moisturized, hydrated, and nourished throughout the day whenever I use this. I believe that."

"One of my new favorite K beauty brands has to be Tirtir. Over on the skincare side of TikTok, they're known for their Milk Skin Toner, which I absolutely love. I'm halfway through the bottle. It's not heavy. It feels very moisturizing, more than hydrating. It's got rice bran extract, ceramides, niacinamide at 4%, so a decent amount. It just leaves your skin so moisturized in this lightweight, essence-y feel. They also have something in here called their multi-exit bsAm, which consists of seven plant-based ingredients to help soothe the skin and revitalize it, giving you a brighter, more even complexion. It really does target that hydration, even skin tone, soothing the skin, making your skin look more radiant. I've tried this a couple times, and it literally is just like the other toner, the thicker one, just in a lighter weight texture. I think it's more appropriate for three, four months out of the year than the thicker version of this."

Oh, actually, that's a lie, I've been swapping between this and their light version, which is just a lighter version of this one, for four weeks solidly.
