What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise how quickly and smoothly this balm melts without feeling heavy or oily, and note it removes makeup and sunscreen reliably. The texture is a standout, described as unusually light and almost fluffy compared to traditional cleansing balms. One expert found it solid and repurchaseable but straightforward (effective at what it does without surprising results) so those after a no-fuss, dependable first cleanse may find it worth trying, while anyone seeking something transformative may want to manage expectations.

"It is doing what it's supposed to do, nothing mind-blowing, nothing that's going to knock your socks off, but it will take off some mascara."

"I'm gonna use the TIRTIR Hydro Boost Enzyme Cleansing Balm. I just give myself a little face massage and get all this product off. And you feel like you're using a product for adults, not for kids."

"This is a cleansing balm I know I can rely on to take off not only sunscreen, maybe a little bit of makeup, but also when I go to London, like outside pollution. This is a very soft, almost luxurious feeling cleansing balm. It doesn't feel like you have to melt down plastic like a lot of traditional cleansing balms do. It very quickly kind of melts down and is very, very light on the skin. It doesn't feel massively oily, it's just very, very light and gentle. Once you rinse away, not only does it leave your skin feeling hydrated, moisturized, nourished, but it's also gently exfoliating. We have rice bran oil and niacinamide in here to help brighten up the complexion, and it helps to pores and excess sebum."
