What the gurus are saying

Multiple forms of vitamin C let this serum brighten and fade hyperpigmentation while staying gentler than straight ascorbic acid. This makes it a sweet spot for established vitamin C users looking to level up, though beginners and those with sensitive skin should skip this. The ferulic acid creates a metallic "hot dog water" smell that does dissipate. Reviewers loved the affordable price and the airless pump, which keeps the formula stable.

"This actually uses multiple forms of vitamin C to keep things super fresh, super stable, but also super potent. This does pack a punch. I would say you need to be an established vitamin C user in order to incorporate this. If you're a beginner, go for one of the other options. I find with the Theramid one, it is a little bit higher potency, so it's not going to be suitable for people with super sensitive skin or beginners. But that's okay because not everybody is new to vitamin C. They might want to level up, step it up, and this would be a great product to achieve that. Really inexpensive. I don't like people overpaying for vitamin C, you don't need to. With so many affordable options on the market and this is beautiful. Comes in an airless pump to keep it really fresh, which I think is absolutely amazing. And you've got a plethora of different antioxidants alongside that vitamin C to double down on the benefits that you're going to see. It's just a powerhouse formula."

WORLDS GREATEST SKINCARE BRAND 2025 - Theramid Skincare Review
"Five different forms of vitamin C alongside other great brightening and antioxidant ingredients. This packs a punch. It's really inexpensive, but it delivers that glow up, that boost to radiance and luminosity and a fading of hyperpigmentation that you would expect from vitamin C, but because it doesn't just rely on ascorbic acid, it's much less sensitizing than pure form vitamin C serums. And so it just could be used by a wider range of people. I absolutely love this. If you're somebody that struggles with vitamin C, you've either not got the results you wanted or it's too sensitizing, give this a go. I think it'll be a revelation. It certainly was for me. And it's just a really nice product that you can actually use twice a day if you want, morning and evening, if you want to double down on your vitamin C results."

"Into the ingredients of this guy we've got a sorbic acid, tetrasodium ascorbyl phosphate, we've got a scutellaria glucoside, we've got ferulic acid. The ferulic acid does give it that hot dog water smell so if you're not loving vitamin C serums that have that smell to them, or some people describe as almost like metallic, hot dog water is the best way I've heard to describe it, it does have that. It dissipates but it's still there and I think ferulic acid is the main culprit. I always thought it was the sorbic acid but I think the ferulic acid is the one to blame for that one."
