What the gurus are saying

The lightweight gel texture earns praise for delivering moisture without heaviness, making it suitable even for oily skin before makeup. Squalane, ceramides, and omega fatty acids work together to support the skin barrier, while Hallabong extract (a Korean citrus rich in vitamin C) adds brightening benefits. The balance between hydration and a non-occlusive feel is what sets it apart for those who need moisture but worry about products sitting on top of their skin.

"For my makeup prep skincare routine, I use the Then I Met You Bong Bounce cream. This is so, so cute. The smell is incredible. I love this cream. I've actually been using this for a while because it's that perfect balance between a moisturizer and a gel texture. So it's really, really lightweight. So again, if you're oily, you still need that moisture before your makeup, but it's not over moisturized, so it's not going to sit on top of your skin. It has Squalene and Ceramides and it's also infused with Vitamin C rich Hallabong Extract, which helps brighten the skin."

"I launched this because I wanted to take back what they had shared with me about our other lightweight formula and then make a better one. This is my new favorite. This is the Bong Bounce Cream. Bong is a play on word from the Hallabong fruit that's grown only in Jeju, Korea. These citrus fruits are only grown in the winter time and they have this massively thick peel because it's protecting the precious juicy cargo during the winter time because there's frost and everything. So it cocoons it. I was like I love the idea that this fruit has a thick peel, kind of like how we need to coat and protect our skin during the winter to protect it from all the environmental elements. I wanted to create a barrier cream that actually was for all skin types."

"Then I Met You only has good skincare products, I don't think I've used a product of theirs I really don't like, but this is a barrier cream with a bit of a difference, it's a lightweight gel moisturizer that just leaves your skin feeling so hydrated yet really really nourished and cared for, with ceramide, omega fatty acids and squalane for barrier support."
