What the gurus are saying

Gurus who tested it found sulfur to be remarkably fast at shrinking individual pimples, often by half overnight, and effective at calming redness and reducing blackheads over a few weeks, with results they felt outpaced pimple patches and salicylic acid alternatives. The formula uses colloidal sulfur, which means it skips the rotten-egg smell typical of sulfur products while keeping the anti-inflammatory punch. Those with acne, rosacea, or sensitivity-prone skin may want to apply it after cleansing but before heavier moisturizers or actives like retinol, working the powder into a cream on the skin first.

"This isn't a universal product. I would say you need this if you have breakout-prone skin, rosacea or very sensitive redness prone skin. This actually goes on as a powder but works into a beautiful cream. And you can either use it on areas where you have redness and sensitivity. It works so so well to just calm and soothe. Sulfur is the best ingredient for doing that. Or you can use it on areas where you have a breakout. So if you get that offending pimple, pop some of it on and it'll just reduce the heal time by roughly half. Sulfur is fantastic as an anti-inflammatory, anti-redness agent, but normally it stinks. Sulfur, it smells like rotten eggs. Nobody needs that in their life. This one doesn't because they use colloidal sulfur. Not only is that better in terms of its anti-inflammatory, but it doesn't smell. So, if you want sulfur without the rotten eggs, this is it and I absolutely absolutely love it."

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING - The Ordinary Sulfur 10% Powder-to-Cream Concentrate
"If you put this on before you go to bed, put it on that offending pimple before you go to bed, when you wake up, it'll roughly be half the size that it was before you went to sleep. That is an amazing turnaround and far better than you're going to get from any pimple patches or any other drying lotions which just irritate and dry out the skin. This genuinely is one of the best products I've used for treating individual blemishes and acne breakouts. And they say that this has roughly the equivalent of 150 pimple patch applications in it. So definitely value for money because it costs £10 here in the UK. So often cheaper than most pimple patches, works better, and you get a lot more for your money in terms of application. You can also use this on areas where you have blackheads or congestion because sulfur is great at just drawing out all that skin congestion. I've been using this on my nose where I get a lot of blackheads and I've seen probably a 50% reduction in those blackheads over a two week period. That's phenomenal. Again, better than any pore strips, better than any other salicylic acids that I've ever applied. Because this is a powder to cream option, it just makes it super easy. Dust a little on, work it until you get that cream consistency, and then you're done. You can put makeup on the top of it if you want. You can use other skincare products alongside it. Use this as the first step after cleansing and that will really help suck out those blackheads and eliminate them."
5⭐ SKINCARE - Instant Anti Aging Guaranteed
"The Ordinary Sulfur 10% Powder to Cream Concentrate is the most effective spot treatment I have ever tried. If you have very reactive rosacea prone skin, put a little on where you get super red and it'll calm that down. Sulfur is a holy grail ingredient in skincare and it's nice to actually have a product with it. Normally sulfur stinks with a very rotten egg scent to it, but because they use colloidal sulfur rather than elemental sulfur in this, it doesn't have that rotten egg scent. So if you're somebody that likes the idea of sulfur but doesn't want the scent that goes with it, try this out."

"This is the sulfur 10% powder to cream concentrate. It is really really good. Very unique and again there is no sulfur rotten egg smell with this. You want to use this prior to your moisturizer or prior to let's say retinol or before sunscreen because again it's powder that turns into a cream and you want that laid down first before a thicker occlusive product on top like a moisturizer or something. Great if you just have some rosiness to your skin as well."
