"This can be used prior to retinol and before tretinoin. And this also can be used with other types of antioxidants as well as your vitamin C. And this is a really lovely serum especially for signs of aging and for brightening the skin. So if you are looking for something like that and you love resveratrol then this is a really good one. When I first started, I did experience a bit of dryness. So just start slow maybe at first and then just increase your usage."

"I love the Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%. Both ingredients are at a 3% concentration, which is really rare. I haven't found a serum like this where you get both the ferulic and Resveratrol at 3% in one formulation. This is a very powerful antioxidant serum on its own, so if you can't use vitamin C or a vitamin C derivative, I would say try this and use this on its own. You can also pair this up with a retinol and tronA if your skin can handle that pairing. This could cause a little bit of tingling sensation to your skin. I experienced this when I first started with it, but as my skin became used to this serum, I don't experience that anymore. If you pair this immediately with your vitamin C and you do experience that tingling sensation, just know that it's coming from this. You might want to keep them separate for a while, maybe alternate your mornings, or use this at night and the vitamin C in the morning until your skin adjusts, and then eventually pair them up together."

"Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% from The Ordinary, top tier, top tier. It's one of my favorite antioxidant combinations of all time if you're going for a pure antioxidant and you just want two extraordinary ones. The funny thing is I always forget this product is slightly yellowy tinged to begin with and I always wonder because I don't use it very frequently when I pull it off the shelf if it's gone bad, but it is outstanding. There are a lot of studies head-to-head with antioxidants and there are just a lot of good ones, so if you're going for a purely antioxidant ingredient with potential to help with your sunscreen, help with your protection for your skin, yes, Resveratrol is great. Is it better than vitamin C? Probably not, but only because it doesn't have the supporting, complimenting benefits."

"Resveratrol is really well known as an antioxidant that helps to stabilize pure vitamin C, another antioxidant ascorbic acid. The additional benefit of ferulic acid is that it helps to protect the skin against photo damage, against damage from the Sun. These two key antioxidants together in these high quantities right, 3% of both Resveratrol and ferulic acid, really do have that protective ability against the damages of UV rays. The Ordinary creates these really potent high percentage antioxidant serums without any water. They do believe that water does destabilize the antioxidant action of the ingredient, and so they actually choose not to use any water. It does create quite an oil-like texture but it does have a lightweight feel with an oil-like slip to it. It has really good absorbancy, almost feels a bit like a dry oil on the skin. It absorbs really fast. There's really not like a big greasy layer on top. It's not going to leave you super duper shiny. There's just a little bit of shine but it's not like a heavy grease layer on top of your skin and it feels fairly lightweight with good absorbency."
