"They broke some of those biases that I have about thick feeling, nonabsorbing, sticky hyaluronic acid. I think both of these actually come out ahead of some of the competitors that have similar formulas. One of my bigger concerns comes with the hydrating or non-hydrating factor of these types of formulations where hyaluronic acid is the star ingredient and one of the few ingredients in the formula, because hyaluronic acid, it always comes back to the size of that molecule."

"Neither the original nor this will ever be among my absolute favorites, because hyaluronic acid serums are not enough on their own for me to continue with this type of product. I still completely respect this product, The Ordinary was the first to ever have this kind of approach to skincare, where you had so much control over your own routine on a very affordable budget, and I appreciate that they're still trying to keep their products current."
