What the gurus are saying

This softens and detangles hair beautifully in a lightweight, fragrance-free formula, a rare combination that makes it a go-to for anyone avoiding fragrance. However, the conditioning effect fades by day two, especially for damaged hair, so it works best for people with healthy, undamaged strands.

"The conditioner I actually find to be wonderful. It really softens the hair and lets the razor glide smoothly. I use it more in my hair, I feel that it softens my armpits more. Either way, this is kind of my little shaving routine where I make sure that I go in the direction of the hair growth."

Razor Bumps? Same. Here are ways to deal with underarm pimples and razor burn!

Is HAIRCARE From The Ordinary Coming For The Inkey List?
"This is a lightweight conditioning formula and just like the shampoo it's fragrance free but it's basic af. I was expecting to see something interesting in here. It is simple pimple. This behentrimonium chloride helps to coat the hair and lock in water from the shower, leaving the hair feeling smooth and soft. It feels very lightweight, almost more like an essence than a serum. For eight dollars it's definitely not horrible. The real benefit I'm seeing is the fact that it is a fragrance free, dye free option. But I'm kind of sitting here wondering if this would actually hold up to my very dry curly strands, and I'm not completely confident whether this is right for me or if I should stick with my Shea Moisture for my dry split ends."
What Happened After I Used The Ordinary Hair Care For 2 Months - Brutally Honest Curly Hair Review
"The Bentonium Chloride 2% conditioner was actually quite shocking. This is awesome for my dryish curly-ish hair and it doesn't make my scalp feel too overly greasy. This was something that helped enhance my curls but didn't leave my curls feeling weighed down. There are some deep conditioners and regular conditioners that just weigh my curls down, but with this conditioner I feel like it doesn't weigh my hair down. It did make my hair smooth but it wasn't overly done, and my hair was really silky. I feel like finding a good conditioner for me is really hard because I need something that gives me moisture but that doesn't weigh my hair down, and this is a good one. I would definitely purchase this again. I'm actually quite impressed with this and I like it a lot."

"The corresponding conditioner I likewise really liked, because it does what it's supposed to do. It helps neutralize the charge on the hair strands that comes about from shampooing, which would leave hair more prone to tangles and breakage, and that's exactly what this does. I have really liked what these do for my hair, I just don't care for the experience necessarily, I like really florally or fruity scented shampoos and a lot of lather, and that aspect is lacking here. But for somebody looking for a fragrance free shampoo and conditioner, check these out, eight bucks apiece, which I think is a pretty good price. I definitely will be repurchasing these in the future."

"I was actually quite surprised by how well this worked on my hair. This conditioner detangled my hair really nicely when I was washing it and it felt nice for about a day, but by day two my hair started feeling a bit dry. I think this would have been fantastic for my hair before I bleached it, but now I need those extra damaged coating ingredients. So I would recommend trying this if your hair is not quite this level of damaged, if you want a conditioner that doesn't weigh your hair down, or if you want something fragrance-free. Again, there really aren't that many options for fragrance-free hair conditioners, so I'm really happy to see this as an option for people who want it."
