"I'm going in with the Notorium Azelaic Acid Emulsion 10%. I really like azelaic acid because it helps with hyperpigmentation, it improves redness, it can aid in the resolution of breakouts, so it's a very versatile ingredient. However, azelaic acid is a little tricky to formulate with; it tends to get quite gritty when you put it in with other things. But this serum is very smooth and it's why I enjoy it so much. It's lightweight and creamy but you can see how it's a little thicker than the other things I've already applied, which is why I'm layering it third in the routine."
