"This is the Ordinary Azelaic Acid 2% plus Niacinamide 2% Solution, and I crowned this the best skincare product of 2023. It soothes and fades hyperpigmentation. There is no point in my view using all of these high potency actives if your skin is irritated and inflamed because that's just going to be breaking apart the collagen, so you need to keep everything calmed and soothed. This is why I would beg everyone to consider in 2024 to buy this product, which I think is around eight dollars, not super expensive, and incorporate it into your morning and evening skincare routine. It'll calm and soothe like no other and honestly I think it makes as big a difference to anti-aging as your high potency actives such as your retinoids. It's been a game changer in my routine and I cannot sing its praises enough. Such a great new launch from the Ordinary. I'm quite lavish with it, I use a lot, but I think for that price point I don't mind that. My skin drinks it up, feels so so so good. I put that on before my retinoid oil because oils obviously go after water-based serums if you're thinking about how to layer a routine."

"This is phenomenal because whilst I had low expectations, I looked at the ingredients and thought aloe, nothing groundbreaking, a nice ingredient but nothing groundbreaking, niacinamide showing some initial positive results in terms of testing but there's not a whole lot of data to show how effective it is. So I tried it and was quite willing to just let it go, move on, and then I just find my skin loved it. When it comes to fading hyperpigmentation, dark spots and discoloration, particularly post-acne dark spots and scarring, I honestly think this could be one of the best serums. It allows skin to calm, soothe and hydrate, and that niacinamide, if you use it alongside other ingredients such as Vitamin C, your AHAs, BHAs, tranexamic acids, could take your hyperpigmentation game up to the next level. Let me tell you, these zits that I had, these would have broken out so much more and scarred so much more if I wasn't using this. It's almost like a preventative step. We all break out, we all have reasons, sometimes it's time of the month, sometimes it's as a result of some more sun exposure, in my case it's acne-based. We all will experience hyperpigmentation, and I would recommend including this as like a defense mechanism to prevent it and minimize its overall appearance. Definitely works. This very lightweight serum, and I feel by putting this on alongside growth factors and peptides, those three work together for your hydration, your plumping, your nourishment for the skin alongside all those great anti-aging peptides."

"This is a hidden gem serum from the ordinary. I love it. It's universal, whether you've got breakouts or you haven't, you can use this. It's calming, it's soothing, and it's hydrating. But if you use this on areas where you have an active breakout, I find that roughly halves the amount of heal time. If I have a zit emerging, I'll pop this on and overnight, by the time the morning comes around, it's half the size it was before you applied it. This is game changing. It won't disappear it like that overnight, but it'll half the overall size of it, which means it's going to be easier to cover and disguise. If you don't have breakouts, use this all over the face. It's just a nice calming and soothing hydrating serum. It's universal, it's affordable, and I think it's a step up from the inky list. It's cheaper, which is always going to be a tick in the box. I think they set the expectations well with this. The ordinary say exactly what it's going to deliver and then deliver it, which I love. The fact it can be used by all skin types and slot perfectly into your skincare routine just means I no longer reach for the salicylic acid blemish treatment. I was prepared to be disappointed with this, but like two weeks in, I was blown away. And now it's a daily feature in my skincare routine, and I would never be without it."
