"You only need a thin layer. Your skin doesn't have to be super dark red. The first thing that I notice is the brightness of my face. I just feel like my skin looks more refreshed. My forehead has like a sheen to it. It really improved texture right off the bat and I just have this nice refreshed appearance to my skin. "The Ordinary peeling solution is good. They have three different strengths, they have a light, they have a medium, they have something which is very strong, so they have all three versions. At-home chemical peeling can give you some great results. You can start by doing it once a week and twice a week. Some kind of a chemical peel, you integrate twice a month into your skin care routine, and your skin cell turnover gets a very amazing boost."

"If you've been using this regime for 2-3 weeks or 3-4 weeks and you're seeing improvement in pigmentation but you want that to move faster, then you need to be using a chemical exfoliant. You can use the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 2 to 3 times a week after cleansing. You want to use 5 drops of the serum, spread evenly around the face, making sure that you only leave it on initially for a few minutes and then slowly progress to a little bit longer. Then you cleanse that off and continue your routine. You want to do that 2 or 3 times a week because you want to be peeling those layers, especially if your pigmentation is deeper. If you press down on the pigmentation and it doesn't go, that means the pigmentation is deeper and you need to be using these exfoliants so that you can slot it in quite nicely within your regime really easily. Always check for conflicts on The Ordinary website in terms of mixing those things, but you can use it directly after the cleanser and then cleanse it off and then you can continue with your other products."

"It's a very potent product. 30% is a lot. I have absolutely used this and I have absolutely irritated and burned my skin when using this, even with caution. It's a very potent AHA product. There was a lot of misinformation about what it can do and who it's suitable for, and I do still feel like there is a lot of that going around. It's a very, very potent amount of AHA that can definitely address texture and dull skin, but it needs to be approached with caution and with respect. I just don't think that it's going to suit a lot of folks. It's not my favorite, and it really is just because I've seen so many people get burned by it. I've seen so many people misunderstand how to use it, thinking that they need it when they probably really don't."

"This is a fragrance-free option that I rely on and share with clients. You can start off with 1 minute before you do all 10. This actually gives you results, skin looks clearer, more fresh, glowy, hydrated. It helps with blackheads and acne because of that BHA, and especially if you do this regularly over time it can really help with skin resurfacing. I struggled with bad acne for so many years, and I do think it's because of treatments I've done including chemical peels including this one for the past 3 years almost non-stop that my acne scars do not look as indented or as obvious as they could be. After I use this peel my skin, my pores, they just all look better and other people have noticed that too. Of course don't use this and go in the sun, use this at night and then sunscreen responsibly the next day. The AHA BHA peeling solution is fantastic because it has that salicylic acid, but sometimes there are people who have dry skin and acne and that's really rough to treat because a lot of acne treatments including BHA can be a little bit more drying. Well, The Ordinary has an anhydrous salicylic acid, this is basically BHA in oil, and I'm so happy they launched this because this is so good. It has no water in it so it's anhydrous."

"It's the most similar experience I've ever been able to find to the Drunk Elephant one, and I actually had better results with this formula than the Sukari Baby Facial. The Ordinary one is a little bit stronger, it has 5% more exfoliation power, and it's in a more dropper liquid form. When it comes to results, they are so similar to each other. Drunk Elephant is $80, The Ordinary is $8, you are saving 90% to get the same type of results on the skin. It is wild. For that alone, I automatically prefer The Ordinary Peeling Solution. This product is absolutely not meant for 10-year-olds. If you are a tween, do not use this product."
