What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise The Inky List for delivering visible results with high-quality actives at accessible prices, and note that products blend well and feel pleasant to use. The recurring concern is whether rapid product launches signal sufficient R&D rigor, and some find the ingredient-forward formulas produce less pleasant scents than ultra-minimal competitors. Quality control and efficacy claims appear solid to those who have tested them.

"I'm a skeptic. I think really if you're launching so many new products, are you really putting that much thought and attention into any one of them? I don't think so."

"The Inky List, that is excellent to have actives plus make it look invisible on my skin is excellent. It blends really nicely, you can barely see it. The plastic is hygienic, it's a decent diameter, though they could probably go a little bit larger, especially for bigger pimples."

"We had to go to three different testing houses to ensure that the SPF that we thought we'd created was actually the SPF factor that we wanted to create and triple verified because even when you go to that level of detail we had some stuff that should have been absolutely great."

"I do truly wonder if there are going to be more brands like The Ordinary, like Bubble, like The Inky List that create effective high quality and inexpensive skin care because I feel like we need that."

"The Inky List, The Ordinary did they smell very placid but that's because there's very few ingredients in there and what you're getting is not you haven't got any good ingredients to really mask. As soon as you start putting proper ingredients many different types of ingredients within a product they react with each other and what you get is kind of sometimes not a nice smell."
