What the gurus are saying

This cleanser earns praise for feeling lightweight and soothing despite its creamy base, making it effective at removing makeup and sunscreen without the heavy feel of traditional cream cleansers. One expert found it solid but not quite a standout, while others have made it their regular choice, particularly those drawn to gentle formulations. It may suit anyone looking for a hydrating cleanse that doesn't leave a residue on the skin.

"This cleanser is probably not the best for those that wear heavy makeup and want to be done in one cleanse, or that have really oily skin. I don't think they will like the texture. But for everyone else, perfectly fine. And if you suffer from eczema, you won't be able to cure it just by using this cleanser, but it is apparently one that might work well for you. For me, I really like it, but I don't love it. So I think it's just one of these cleansers that I will happily keep on using until they are gone and then forget about them."

"The one I'm currently using is The Inkey List Hydrating Cream to Milk Cleanser. I am still testing it. I wouldn't recommend it to remove your makeup because it doesn't do that very well and it stings the eyes, but for a second cleanse or morning cleanse, it is quite nice. So far I'm enjoying it. Full review will come eventually."

"Tonight's cleanser of choice for me, the Inkey List Hydrating Cream to Milk Cleanser."

"This is the Hydrating Cream to Milk Cleanser. It very much reminds you of an old-fashioned cream cleanser, but a lot more gentler and lighter feeling on the face. They say it delivers 24-hour hydration and 12-hour barrier support with 5% rice milk and hyaluronic acid. It's very soothing. I've only used it twice, but it's great for removing makeup, sunscreen, and even just unlike naked skin as a gentle cleanse."
