What the gurus are saying

The stick's genius lies in its deodorant-like roll-on format, which lets you glide exfoliating acids and shea butter into every body crevice without mess or hands. Gurus praise it for smoothing rough bumps on the back of arms, tackling keratosis pilaris and body acne, and easing discoloration, with one noting the texture on their arms went noticeably smoother. Because the formula combines two exfoliating actives, those with sensitive skin like armpits may want to start with just two to three times a week and patch-test first.

"The Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick by The Inkey List. You can rub it on the skin right like that. It's super quick and easy. Hands-free. This is another one that is a go-to for me."

"The INKEY List are like The Ordinary but with better products in my opinion, with more well-rounded formulas that feel so nice on the skin. My favorite product of theirs is still the Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick. It combines glycolic acid, salicylic acid and shea butter and helps exfoliate rough bumpy skin and uneven patches, and you can even use it as a deodorant every so often."

"The glycolic acid exfoliating body stick is in my personal opinion the best product that Inkey List has ever made. It looks so basic, so basic, but it's also genius in that basicness. This is an exfoliating body stick essentially that targets KP, you know the bumps in the back of your arms, body acne, discoloration on the body, and I also use it as a deodorant sometimes as well. It exfoliates using glycolic acid and salicylic acid. It's got a ton of nice oils in it and shea butter as well, so it gives you this nice body moisturized feeling. At first I was like, oh the packaging is so ugly, it looks like a roll-on deodorant, but that's why it's so genius because it is the perfect packaging for a body product to go in all the crevices and shapes of your body and to roll on your body. It makes perfect sense. The back of my arms are smooth. I had a bad reaction under my armpits to some natural deodorant, so there's some discoloration under there that is going away. I love it so much. I feel like it sells out fast, so you need to get it when it's in stock."

"I've been using the INKEY List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick as a deodorant, kind of like three to four times a week, or two to three more likely, because I still want to be very gentle on my armpits. They're very sensitive, I can't use a lot of mainstream deodorants."

"I apply it all over my body like I would a deodorant. You don't have to rub it in if you don't want to, and then you're done. It's so easy for me to use. They say it combines not only Glycolic Acid but also Salicylic Acid, to help with ingrown hairs if you're prone to clogged pores and body breakouts, KP at the back, discoloration, rough knees and elbows. It's an exfoliating stick. I love this so much. On the back of my arms, I haven't seen a physical difference in the redness you get with KP, but it's only been two weeks, and the smoothness is incredible. I just feel how smooth they're getting. I haven't put it on my knees because this doesn't work that great on hairy areas, you do have to rub it in there, and sometimes I don't want to do that. I just want to glide and go. When I first got this I thought it looked like a deodorant, and then I realized people use Glycolic Acid to wipe under their armpits to stop body odor. It's literally a deodorant stick, and I've been wiping it under my armpits. It's been evening out the tone under there, smoothing back out discoloration caused by things like deodorants and irritation that my skin didn't react well to. This has done an amazing job. I'm super impressed with this so far. If you head over to their website and go to the product page, you can see some really decent, realistic before and afters. It visibly reduces body breakouts in seven days and visibly improves dry, hard, cracked..."

"I am in love with their Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick, this helps smooth texture, it helps with all those rougher dry areas like breakouts on your body, and it just really softens the skin with citric acid and glycolic acid, this has been amazing at relieving dry looking skin from my knees but most notably smoothing the texture on my arms."
