Along with caffeine it also contains lactic acid, green tea, and panthenol, so ingredients that help to hydrate the skin, support the skin moisture barrier, antioxidants that are going to keep your scalp healthy. Because of this formulation it applies really nicely and doesn't impart any greasiness to the hair, so something that can be used more regularly which I can't always say for all the other scalp serums that exist on the market."
