What the gurus are saying

The experts who reviewed it praise urea as a hydrating ingredient that works well for those with oily or combination skin leaning oily, since the formula is light and doesn't leave residue. Beyond hydration, the gurus found it can help soften rough patches and ease irritation and itchiness, making it worth considering for anyone dealing with eczema or dry, irritated areas. It suits balanced and normal skin types too, though those with drier skin may want to layer it with a richer cream.

"Moisturizers with ingredients like urea and alpha hydroxy acid can act as great humectants and have been shown to help soften the cuticles and repair nails. For example, the Inkey List 10% Urea Moisturizer is a great one. It's lightweight and does not leave a lot of residue on your hands afterwards."

"The 10% Urea Moisturizer I really like they came out with this a couple of years ago and I fell in love with it immediately as a moisturizer. I think it will really suit folks who are a little bit on the oily side they want something a little bit lighter this is not the heavy rich creams. If you have oily skin or combination skin that leans oily I think you'll like this if you have more of a balanced or a normal skin type I think you'll like this as well. It is a really fantastic kind of gel-based moisturizer feels very hydrating because urea is a natural moisturizing factor for your skin so it really helps to hydrate your skin. It's also barrier supportive it's just good for the health of your skin but urea has a secondary benefit if you do suffer with eczema or if you have really rough patches on your skin because it can really help to soften and loosen those over time it also helps with irritation and itchiness on the skin as well."
