It feels really nice on your skin, lightweight, there's no scent to it. "This one is the most expensive on the list and probably is the worst packaging for such a great product. The packaging on this one is awful. I love this stuff. It's really on a lot of these recent winter kind of wintry days where it's starting to get cold out, this one is so hydrating. The packaging is just awful. I haven't had my packaging flake as much as other people have but I've been pretty careful, and also if you store it laying slightly down and you open it up it'll spill everywhere. So anyway, although people have been covering with tape and packaging tape to prevent the flakes, but I just I love it, I hate the packaging, I hate the price of it but I really enjoy the sunscreen itself. It's got a slight tint to it. It's got 10% zinc oxide so it's got a slight tint to it and very hydrating, great for these dry days. So really nice sunscreen, love the formula, hate the packaging. Normally it's the other way around with Tatcha, normally I love the packaging and hate the product, but this time they've got it backwards."

"This is a $64 sunscreen that's finally 50% off for $32, and it's a good price for Tatcha, but I thought long and hard about it and decided not to repurchase this, at least not right now. Genuinely, this is one of the best mineral sunscreens I've ever tried in my life, and it's one of the few that really works on my dry skin because zinc oxide is a mineral filter that's also a drying, astringent ingredient. But it simply doesn't compare to a $10 sunscreen out of Japan or Korea, because the chemists formulating for those brands have access to much better UV filters that aren't approved in the US. I also think this might be a little too heavy if you have oily skin, you might be just fine using a much more affordable mineral sunscreen instead."

"I can apply this throughout the day, regularly, every 2 hours, or however much I need to apply it, without it getting greasy, without pilling up on top of each other. The only thing is, it is zinc. It's slightly tinted. It gets caught up in my facial hair, eyebrows, hairline. If you're any darker than me, this is gonna show up on your skin like crazy. They say it's sheer. It's not. But as a first step in the morning, I'm really, really enjoying this. Do I think you need to run out and purchase it? No, I think there are better mineral sunscreens. Tatcha's overpriced, usually anyway. It is one of the nicer mineral sunscreens. But unless you're white to this kind of tan, it's not going to be good for you. It's not the best to reapply, but it does feel nice as your first sunscreen application in the day."

"This is a very runny, watery liquid sunscreen with a light peach tint. It's so lightweight and fluid, it glides over the skin and rubs in easily with no problems around hair or eyebrows. It has a tacky feel, not necessarily a greasy feel on application. It gives a slightly light cast when first applied. After 20 minutes of drying back, it's got a very shiny finish and only the slightest white cast. With makeup on over it, the shine from the sunscreen comes right through, making the finish more luminous and accentuating my pores. The sunscreen caused my makeup to settle into my wrinkles right away. The makeup wore off much more quickly than usual, wearing off on my nose at the four-hour check-in. The shine had come back through the powder pretty quickly, making my skin look more textured and making my foundation look shinier than it should after just a couple of hours. It looked patchy by the end of the day and crusty by the sides of my nose. It's extremely shiny, and for 60 bucks, it really needs to make my makeup look perfect. The hype I heard was, oh my God, it's like a primer for your makeup, it'll make your makeup go on so perfectly, and for me it just didn't do any of that. It wasn't really wearable on its own; it was too shiny and it didn't do anything for my makeup."

"This is a very lightweight liquidy sunscreen with a very pale pinkish tint. If you're a very pale cool skin tone you could love how this one looks on your skin. For me it still left a little bit of a pinkish whitish cast even after the 20 minutes of dry back. This one was also very very shiny going on and felt very very greasy. It is lightweight enough that it does just glide over your skin. It didn't get tangled up in my hair, so from that standpoint it went on very nicely and it didn't feel heavy. But the shine I couldn't get past the shine and the greasy feeling. The shine from the sunscreen comes through makeup. Makeup was much more worn off than usual at the end of the day and it looked really shiny and greasy which accentuated my pores and texture. For that price I was like it had better be perfection and it was far from it. I didn't even like it. It wouldn't even make it into my like top 10 sunscreens list. So I would definitely skip the Tatcha."

"This is Tatcha's The Silk Sunscreen SPF 50. It has one of my favorite moisturizing ingredients, isododecane, but the tint on this is very, very negligible, there's not much to it, and I was surprised by how sheer this is. If you have a deeper skin tone I think this is going to show up as a very sheer white veil on the skin. It does have niacinamide in it, which a lot of you have issue with. It's sixty dollars for 1.7 ounces. This is not one I would buy myself or go out of my way to repurchase. I definitely would not buy the Tatcha one for the price, I didn't think this was worth it. I would much rather get the EltaMD UV Restore, I think that's a better option."
