"Personally for me the essence isn't great, it's one of the more expensive essences on the market but definitely not one of the best, in theory it sounds nice, it's got all those fermented ingredients [...] alongside camellia and green tea, but it falls a bit flat, it didn't do anything for me, and even worse it's got a weird smell to it, it smells like somebody licked you and then you let their saliva dry on your face."

"This is a 95 dollar essence. It is nice and it does have excellent ingredients such as some ferments, some yeast extracts and some green tea. It is fantastic but I don't think this is worth 95 so I always roll my eyes at Tatcha. They're cruelty free, yes. Do they have vegan options, yes. Are the formulas decent, yes. But to me they're nothing revolutionary."
