I don't think it's doing significantly too much in a cleanser, but I just love the elegance of this cleanser. I love the scent. "This cleanser is not terrible, but it's literally rice bran oil. [...] The second ingredient is rice bran oil, and you can go to Target and get rice bran oil for three dollars, or if you want to be bougie you can go to Thrive Market and get it for eight. I love that she can afford this and loves it for her skin, but this is basically very cheap inexpensive rice bran oil with a couple of other ingredients and some fragrance in it, and people are paying fifty dollars for it."

"In terms of removing my waterproof mascara, which is like always the test that I put my cleansing balms and oils to, it's fine but I have to work it in for a really long time so I don't know if it's necessarily worth it. It's Tatcha so it's expensive, and there are so many more affordable options out there for a cleansing balm or oil. I personally prefer a balm because an oil just kind of goes everywhere. [...] I wouldn't recommend it really. I just kind of think it's not worth it."
