"I used Tarte's tubing mascara not this XL one but their other one the entire time I was using the tubing mascara I got a lot of comments what are you using on your lashes are you using a lash serum are you using latisse and it was just that particular mascara. I love tubing mascaras because basically the mascara deposits on the lashes in like a little tube that coats the lash and when you go to take your makeup off at the end of the day the mascara comes off in these little tubes so it's pretty easy to remove which I like. Overall I was very happy with the Tarte mascara but I have tried so many other tubing mascaras including a more affordable one by Milani that I think are just as good. Normally it's 27 bucks which is really expensive for mascara given how good drugstore mascaras are."

Tubing mascaras basically coat your lashes and put a little tube around the individual lash hairs and then at the end of the day when you use your makeup remover these little tubes come off. "The Tarte Tartlet XL Tubing Mascara only got a one out of five for application. It was messy to apply and transferred, so I had to do a bit of cleanup. For appearance, honestly a one out of five. It was clumpy and didn't really look like it extended my lashes much at all. It didn't have that nice sleek individual lash look like I would expect a tubing mascara to have. As far as smudging, it got a three out of five. It did smudge and have a little bit of fallout, not too bad. For washability, it got a three out of five. It didn't take too long to wash it off, a little bit less long than some other mascaras, but the wash off wasn't what I expected for a tubing mascara."

"I purchased the bundle the Tarte trio with the tubing mascara, the fake awake liner, and their lip plumper. This was a huge fail for me. First of all, it doesn't give any color whatsoever. I thought it would give at least, I mean it's just, it's barely there, which is fine, but the smell is a very strong coconut smell and it's slightly sticky and not very hydrating. So unfortunately, this was a fail for me and I'm not going to continue to use it because the scent is just a little bit too strong."

"I also tried the Tarte Tartlet XL Tubing Mascara and this was kind of a fail. I really liked it all day long, it went on really nicely, it looked really good all day. Problem was at the end of the day it had left me like a little dribble over here by the corner of my eye. I have one eye that's always like a little dribbly and when I wear my CI Ray tubing mascara I never end up with the little dribble at the corner of my eye, but with this one I had it. So not in love with this even though it was pretty. I know a lot of people do like it, but I think that the Kelly Ray is far superior because it stays put until I take it off."
