Tartlet XL Tubing Mascara.

"I've been testing this one out lately too. The Tarte tubing mascara I've been testing against the Thrive and I find them very similar. Actually I don't find much of a difference. I think the Tarte one maybe separates a little bit better."

Normally it's 27 bucks which is really expensive for mascara given how good drugstore mascaras are."

"I have been rather enjoying this, but it doesn't really perform quite like a tubing mascara. Tubing mascaras basically coat your lashes and put a little tube around the individual lash hairs and then at the end of the day when you use your makeup remover these little tubes come off. This isn't really like that, but it is a pretty good mascara. It really has a good lengthening. It really does provide a lot of length and lift, but I don't know that it's mindblowing. It's not a particularly unique wand. It doesn't get flaky throughout the day."

"I purchased the bundle the Tarte trio with the tubing mascara, the fake awake liner, and their lip plumper. This was a huge fail for me. First of all, it doesn't give any color whatsoever. I thought it would give at least, I mean it's just, it's barely there, which is fine, but the smell is a very strong coconut smell and it's slightly sticky and not very hydrating. So unfortunately, this was a fail for me and I'm not going to continue to use it because the scent is just a little bit too strong."

"The Tarte Tartlet XL Tubing Mascara only got a one out of five for application. It was messy to apply and transferred, so I had to do a bit of cleanup. For appearance, honestly a one out of five. It was clumpy and didn't really look like it extended my lashes much at all. It didn't have that nice sleek individual lash look like I would expect a tubing mascara to have. As far as smudging, it got a three out of five. It did smudge and have a little bit of fallout, not too bad. For washability, it got a three out of five. It didn't take too long to wash it off, a little bit less long than some other mascaras, but the wash off wasn't what I expected for a tubing mascara."
