What the gurus are saying

While the shade range reaches 58 options, gurus flag critical gaps on two fronts: the shades don't adequately serve darker skin tones, and the key ingredients (ethylhexyl palmitate and fragrance) risk triggering breakouts and irritation in acne-prone skin. For anyone with acne-prone skin, this ingredient profile suggests you might want to look elsewhere for a gentler, more suitable alternative.

"This has got ethylhexyl palmitate. They've added in fragrance. It's excellent in terms of shade range with 58 shades. Final verdict, outstanding shade range but wrong for acne."

"The lightest one will still be way too light for people and also way too red. That's red. To me, this says you do not want people of color using your product. You don't want black people using your product. Because if the intention was there, it would be there. And it's not. Straight up. Even in the back of your mind, it should be there. It's not. You would have done some research. You would have tested these shades on actual people and see that this shade range is actually inadequate and shouldn't even be... I mean, it's laughable, to be honest with you."
