What the gurus are saying

Gurus note that despite the spray format, this mist requires application to the hand and rubbing in rather than direct facial misting, which undermines its convenience appeal. The alcohol content is a drawback for sensitive skin types seeking gentler reapplication options, though the SPF 45 is a genuine strength. Coverage consistency when applied as intended is seen as adequate but not exceptional.

"The deal with these mists is they're kind of spotty in terms of the adequacy of the coverage and you actually have to spray them into your hand and then rub them in. Whenever I tell people that they're like majorly let down because they're under the impression that they can just mist these on their face and they don't have to touch their face, but unfortunately you do have to rub them in."

"I use the Sunbum one. My issue is I have sensitive skin, and I prefer looking for reapplication mists that don't have alcohol in it, but it's really difficult to find one without alcohol that's also not greasy and has a high SPF. Unfortunately this does have alcohol in it, so it's slightly annoying. But like, it is SPF 45, so this one's a high SPF."
