"This formula has two vitamin C derivatives, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid and ascorbyl glucoside, both stable forms. Niacinamide is the first ingredient after water, so it's in a really high concentration, which is a wonderful brightening bonus, plus squalane for hydration and peptides for anti-aging support. But this formula contains multiple fragrance components, several of which are known allergens like linalool and citronellol, and for a brightening serum that people often buy specifically for sensitive, reactive, or hyperpigmentation-prone skin, a fragrance cocktail like this is a real red flag, since fragrance in leave-on products can cause contact dermatitis or contact sensitization. The vitamin C complex is legit and the niacinamide concentration is genuinely really good, but the fragrance load in the brightening serum is a significant concern, especially for anyone with sensitive or reactive skin. Beautiful packaging, great ingredients, but the fragrance is something to definitely watch out for."

"But there are amazing Vitamin C serums around nowadays. Glow Recipe, Naturium, Summer Fridays."
