What the gurus are saying

Gurus are divided on the Solo Wave's utility. One reviewer finds it useful for spot treatment and travel, while another considers it gimmicky, citing its small treatment surface area and questioning the effectiveness of both the microcurrent and red light functions relative to larger devices. There is agreement that it works reasonably well for lymphatic drainage, though that alone may not justify the purchase for some.

"This is the Solo Wave which I have used and I do love for spot treating or for travel."

"It was a microcurrent device that had little red light therapy and it was on a wand. Gimmicky waste of money. Not a big enough space to really do red light therapy. If you're moving around this little wand that has a red light, the surface area that's being treated is super small. It's super small. So you're not getting the same treatment area that you would if you had a mask or if you used a red light therapy panel. I was sent one of those. When I started realizing this is not really microcurrent, it's not really working. You can still use it for lymphatic drainage, which it works really well for lymphatic drainage, but that's about it."
