"This moisturizer has a really beautiful gel cream texture and I even personally like it even though I don't have oily skin. People who will really benefit from this are those who have more mature skin that leans oily. I also really love this product for those who have a disrupted skin barrier, so maybe you overdid it with your retinol cream or you use too much glycolic acid and your skin feels stingy or tight but it's still oily. If I compare this to say the La Roche-Posay mattifying facial moisturizer, I would say that the SkinFix one feels a little bit more hydrating, a little bit more moisturizing, but it's not going to help control oil or mattify as much as the La Roche-Posay product would. This one is more for if you lean oily but you don't need a ton of oil control during the day or overnight and you really feel like your skin barrier needs nourishment. I would also say that if you consider yourself to have combination skin where you're oily throughout your T-zone, oily on your forehead and nose and chin but the rest of your skin is normal to dry, this product sort of fits that niche perfectly because although it's not going to mattify your oily areas it's also not going to exacerbate those areas over the course of the day and it's also going to support the more normal to dry skin that you have on other parts of your face."
