Acne+ Adapalene Gel with Niacinamide + Squalane.

"I picked up the SkinFix Acne+ Adapalene Gel with Niacinamide + Squalane and it's okay so far. I'm not over the moon, but I'll keep testing it because it's only been about a week and a half."

"The only downside with this one is the price. This is one ounce and retails for 48 dollars, so it's expensive. I picked it up on SkinFix's website right when it launched and I got a 20 percent off coupon so it was a little bit more affordable, but still really expensive. But as adapalene becomes more popular there'll be more competition and it'll be more affordable when they're competing against each other to sell it. In terms of the it factor, it's everything I look for in products. It's new, it's innovative, new ingredient to test out and play with. I love it. It fits into my routine well and I'm looking forward to maybe anti-aging benefits from it. I've really been lucky with tretinoin, it's strong but I don't have the dryness and irritation that accompany it, but I'm looking forward to testing this one and seeing if it's all we think it is in terms of not drying skin out. Although this won't last that long because it's not the biggest bottle in the world, but very exciting nonetheless. With a 10 being a perfect score, this one a nine. My only real issue with it is the price, but being one of the first products I've seen with adapalene, they can probably charge whatever they want."

"I went through it really fast because I was just loving it. I fit it in my routine every day. This one has a wonderful gel texture. It uses 0.16% adapalene retinoid in there. It's got vitamin E, peptide, and prickly pear extract. This was great for acne prone skin. I bought it more for fine lines and wrinkles, and it really did a nice job with that. No fragrance, no scent, nice packaging. They did a great job. If this ever went on sale, I'd pick it up again in a heartbeat."

The packaging is nice and it's got a lotiony texture to it, so that's why I put a step in between the copper peptides and the growth factor serum. Hopefully the retinoid is far enough up in my routine that it won't degrade them but then less of it absorbs."

"It's got a really nice texture to it, which is nice, and it's very gentle. I found it really friendly for acne-prone skin. It's got squalane in there as well and it's just a really unique product. The adapalene in itself is more prescribed or used for acne, but after using it for a couple years I do believe that one has anti-aging benefits. "Adapalene is a retinoid, and they studied it at a certain amount to show results. The SkinFix brand picked the absolutely lowest that was studied, and I think you'd probably get better results if they used a little bit more given the price. I really like trying out new ingredients and things like that, so I was happy to try this one out and get the adapalene retinoid in there. I wish they would have picked a higher amount, but overall it's a decent product. It's probably too expensive overall for what it is, but then again I don't know how much that retinoid as a raw material costs."

"I've been using this now, I use it more as kind of an anti-aging ingredient. I really like this one. It really didn't cause much dryness or anything like that. Some forms of retinol I've used that really caused my skin to get dry, this one didn't really cause any. It's really nice, super light texture. I think it's worth trying. It might be more expensive, but if you've tried the adapalene and you've tried other retinoids, you've tried bakuchi, all I think this one's worth a try if those weren't successful for you."

"This one is fragrance-free. It's got a really nice gel texture to it. I really liked it. It was really nice. It contains 0.16% adapalene. It also contains vitamin E, PA protein, prickly pear extract, no fragrance in it. Really nice product. It's a little bit more expensive than the other two, but it's really nice. And it was ahead of the time when they released this. No other adapalene product that I'm aware of had been released yet. So this is still pretty new and it's still a pretty new ingredient because when it comes down to ingredients or products, I can only find still like a handful of them. There's not a ton of them out there."

I think its main purpose right now that's being marketed for is fighting acne but with my results in testing adapalene I find it to be anti-aging as well. If you have acne-prone skin it makes it really good for your skin. I found the adapenoid to be really gentle but effective. I use this a lot on my neck. Can't go wrong with it."
