"This from SkinFix is absolutely wonderful. It's made for acne prone skin, it's from the acne plus line, and I absolutely love this. I can literally just spot this on where I need it and it helps to drive a pimple, but it's not as drying as the Terminator 10."

"This is brand new from Skin Fix and oh my god is this good. This isn't the best of the best but this is a good one. This is an azelaic acid product, and look at what it says underneath the sticker: the original name of this product was the azelaic acid BHA spot treatment. When you look at the ingredients, this is an azelaic acid spot treatment. The first ingredient is water and literally the second ingredient is azelaic acid, so you have a decent amount in here, and then you also have salicylic acid as well as kaolin clay. This is more of a spot treatment so you put it on pimples, but it actually blends into the skin completely clear. I find that this is actually easier to use under makeup than something like The Ordinary. This is a really nice one, it is relatively inexpensive, and this is just a beautiful fun formula that you could spot treat on or you could use all over. If you are someone who gets rosacea in very defined areas, this is fantastic. Or if you're someone who gets breakouts around that time of the month and you just don't want to use a traditional drying benzoyl peroxide spot treatment, this is one that does not dry out your skin, and this is fantastic. Like The Ordinary, this one is fragrance free, but this one applies more elegantly on the skin, and I find that it doesn't ball up quite the same with the kaolin clay. I do like this better as a spot treatment that you put on and rinse off rather than a leave on, but this is a fantastic one."

"This is from Skin Fix. This is their Two Percent BHA Spot Treatment. They're actually a brand that is female-founded in Canada and they are fantastic. Most of their products are made for eczema and dermatitis-prone skin. This is their acne line and this is a fantastic formula and it's actually quite gentle. You can apply this up to three times a day. You literally leave it on and up to three times a day you can reapply. Some spot treatments leave you red or they leave you flaky and you can kind of see that there's a spot treatment there or a pimple patch. For glass skin, that's not really what we're going for. This doesn't dry things out yet it still treats the problem so you can literally put this on your serum and just underneath your moisturizer and you can reapply that throughout the day."

"I like this one from Skinfix because it's actually a really interesting formula. They're using salicylic acid, 10% azelaic acid, kaolin clay, and niacinamide. This one is great as a spot treatment because not only is it going to spot treat with the salicylic acid, but the azelaic acid is really good for those post-inflammatory dark spots that occur. So you can use it for both as a dark spot treatment and as an active pimple treatment. I'm loving that they put azelaic acid into these products because this is the sleeper ingredient that's available over the counter but missing in a lot of over-the-counter acne products. It does double duty. It treats the acne, it helps with the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation."

"It's combining salicylic acid and 10% azelaic acid. So not only is it treating the potential acne spot, but it also is treating dark spots that can occur afterwards because of that salicylic acid and the azelaic acid. And that's where we move in the direction of a product with multiple ingredients working towards a common goal, which is always a very nice thing. Almost always give extra points for something cohesive like that. Great product. Is it the best product? I don't know. We're going to keep going through the potential spot treatments here today and we'll find out."
