It is very lightweight, and it initially feels a little bit oily when you put it on, but the good news is it absorbs very very very fast and so you don't end up feeling it. The first time I used it I was kind of taken aback by it because it comes out a little bit like water, but over the years I have really trusted and grown to love this one. It has never bothered my eyes.
