What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this as a versatile hydrating serum that goes beyond basic moisture support. The recurring strength is its multitasking potential, it can address fine lines and wrinkles both standalone and as a complement to injectable treatments. Dermatologists highlight the formula's active ingredients, particularly proxalin's role in stimulating skin's natural plumping compounds, backed by clinical studies.

"I'll use some kind of hydration like the HA Intensifier from Skinceuticals and then I'll top that off with a moisturizer."

"One of my favorite products from Skinceuticals is the HA Intensifier, and I think of this as beyond just a hydrating serum. You can certainly use it like that, but it's a multitasking serum. You can use it to spot treat areas that have fine lines and wrinkles to help soften those areas locally, or to complement your neuromodulator injection, aka Botox injections, to further improve those fine lines and wrinkles or maybe even help to prolong the effects of your Botox. The ingredients are really fascinating. First of all, it contains 10% proxalin, which is a birch tree derived ingredient that basically has been shown to stimulate our skin's own internal glycoproteins and glucose aminoglycans that basically helps to plump the skin and support the extracellular matrix, which basically helps to give our skin that elasticity and that suppleness that we tend to lose over time. In addition to hyaluronic acid, it also contains 2% licorice root along with purple rice extract that helps to again stimulate our skin's own natural production of hyaluronic acid. They actually did clinical studies performing skin biopsies on the forearm of patients before and after use."
