"I think of this as beyond just a hydrating serum. You can certainly use it like that, but it's a multitasking serum. You can use it to spot treat areas that have fine lines and wrinkles to help soften those areas locally, or to complement your neurotoxin injection, AKA Botox injections, to further improve those fine lines and wrinkles, or maybe even help to prolong the effects of your Botox. The ingredients are really fascinating. "Skinceuticals has a product that combines three percent azelaic acid, which is slightly too light so kind of useless in my book, with two percent arbutin which is actually a sweet spot. I would use this more for the arbutin effects than the azelaic effect. It is greenish so if you have redness it can slightly help, but I don't think three percent azelaic acid is going to be enough. I would not buy this for redness. I would buy this if you have more pigmentation issues."
