What the gurus are saying

Fermented Centella is the standout here, it's a more concentrated, potent form of the ingredient than Skin1004's other Centella products, which means stronger anti-inflammatory and soothing benefits for redness and sensitivity. The ampule also delivers visible hydration and elasticity: gurus report noticing skin that feels firmer, plumper, and more bouncy to the touch, thanks to polyglutamic acid and niacinamide working alongside the Centella and botanical extracts. It's fragrance-free, which suits those with reactive skin.

"I really love this particular line from Skin1004. It's really one of my favorite offerings from them. They have built their name and their success on Centella, and they do have a lot of different Centella offerings, but for me particularly, I love the Probioa line because it really does step up the Centella. It really brings up the quality, brings up the intensity, brings up the benefits of Centella. In the Probioa line generally speaking, but also here in the ampule, they are using fermented Centella. That is a big difference between the soothing cream or the Centella serum that they really built their name on where they're just using plain Centella, not fermented. When you ferment an ingredient, whether it be Centella extract or something else, when you ferment it, basically what happens is it's like really concentrating and superpowering, charging up that ingredient. So all the benefits of Centella: anti-inflammatory, reducing redness, helping with sensitivity, irritation, itchiness, antioxidant care, wound healing."

"This product is one I often recommend because it gives what snail mucin offers for me without the use of the snails. It is a very hydrating fluid that has that slippery texture. It has niacinamide which is really helpful for that redness, ingredients from Centella, botanic extracts that are anti-inflammatory, soothing, and help fight off oxidative stress that would aggravate the symptoms of sensitivity and redness. It has polyglutamic acid, which is great for hydrating and improving skin elasticity. One of the reasons I love this so much is that I find when I use this, similar to when I use snail mucin, I get an improvement in that snap, that recoil that is characteristic of better elasticity. I feel like the skin to the touch is firmer, plumper, dewier. It's fragrance-free."
