What the gurus are saying

One expert found it genuinely shrinks pores (a rare win among pore-focused products) and praised the calming, hydrating formula. However, another skin specialist sees it primarily as a barrier-repair treatment and doesn't expect meaningful pore reduction. Those shopping specifically for pore size may want to manage expectations, though the soothing ingredients work well for anyone with irritation or a compromised barrier. The formula goes fast, so the larger 100 ml size may be the practical choice.

"This is the Skin1004 Pore Minimizing Fresh Ampule. In here, you've got your peptides, you've got your other blend of hydrating ingredients, and you've got a beautifully calming and soothing formula, too. It's like a three in one. What I love about this, though, is it calls itself pore minimizing, and it actually does that. I've tried a lot of pore minimizing products, and this is one of only two I have ever tried that have had a meaningful impact on the size of my pores. So if you're looking to shop Korean skincare for pore size, I would definitely recommend this one. I bought the small 30 mil by accident. Definitely get the 100 mil because your skin will drink it up."

"It's basically an anti-inflammatory formula. They've used Centella, aloe, panthenol, and peptides. I love this actually to repair a damaged skin barrier. I don't think it's going to do much for the pores."
